Here’s a great opportunity to make memories for a reel fun family day. \nThe Miami-Dade County Parks Ecoadventures program is hosting its annual Vamos-a-Pescar (Let’s go Fishing) FREE Family event at Tropical Park\, located at 7900 SW 40th Street\, on Saturday\, October 10th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. \nWhether you’re a first-time fisher or a seasoned angler\, this event is perfect for the whole family. Bring your own gear or borrow some from us! Just bring your love for the outdoors and be ready to cast a line. \nNo experience needed. No fishing license required. Open to all ages. Let’s make this a day to remember—hook\, line\, and sinker. \nCelebrate the great outdoors\, connect with nature\, and experience why we say: Live A Park Life! \nAttendees will be provided instructions on how to cast a net\, tie a knot\, and fish for habitat. Other activities—such as fishing on the lake\, information booths by community partners\, and food vendors—will be available.
