La hora de no dormir

Presented free to the public, as part of Miami Beach Arts in the Parks series. Simbios Art Corp’s charming production of a Spanish-language play is designed for children of all ages, but especially those age 3 to 8. A musical work where songs, dance, acting, and clowning come together through theatrical language and multimedia. An aesthetic inspired by pop culture that awakens the imagination of the little ones, so that they learn to dream. It’s bedtime, but little Luly has much more interesting things to occupy herself with. Her tired mother eagerly awaits the final task of the day: putting her daughter to sleep. Will she succeed? Between stories and songs, they both must conquer monsters, dangerous shadows, wayward sheep, and the enormous challenge of saying “see you tomorrow.”
