Fireworks Shows in Miami: A Guide to Local 4th of July Events

Fourth of July is a time to celebrate our nation’s independence with family and friends, BBQs, and beautiful fireworks displays. If you’re staying local and looking for ways to celebrate, here are some exciting events and fireworks shows happening around Miami this Independence Day.

The Bayfront Park 4th of July: Centennial Celebration

This beloved annual event kicks off at 4 pm and promises a fun-filled day with food vendors, military vehicles and a classic car showcase, city officials dunk tank, and live music. This year’s event, commemorates 100 years since the park’s founding. This is a family friendly event and the night wraps up with a spectacular firework display. If you RSVP in advance, you will receive a complimentary American flag. 

Trump National Doral

Trump National Doral will host its annual Independence Day fireworks show at 9 pm in the Formal Gardens. However, the celebration begins on Thursday with their Red, White, and Poolside event. Pool games start at noon. It’s a fun event for the entire family. Others in the area can also catch a fireworks show at Doral Glades Park or attend 4th of July Bash at The Yard.

Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables

The city of Coral Gables will also be celebrting their Centennial this year and in edition to the annual firework show, there will be an amazing 10-minute custom drone show. The grounds open at 5 pm and there will be a Greater Miami Symphonic Band Concert at 7 pm, followed by fireworks and an aerial drone display.

Fourth of July Celebration at Tropical Park

Head over to Tropical Park for their annual Fourth of July Event presented by Univision. This is a free community event that takes place from 5-9 pm. Families can enjoy the Family Fun Zone, and cool off at the hydration stations with complimentary water. There will be multiple food trucks serving delicious food. 

As the night winds down, make your way to the lakeside area for the grand finale. There will be a breathtaking firework show whick will kick off Park and Recreation Month.

Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade

This year marks the 66th year of the iconic parade. The parade starts at 11 am sharp and will go down Crandon Boulevard from Harbor Drive to West Wood Drive. It is renowned for being The Best Lil’ Hometown Parade in South Florida! After the parade, enjoy a BBQ on the Village Green or head over to the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne and enjoy their evening fireworks show.

Town of Cutler Bay Fourth of July Celebration and Parade

Now in its 57th year, Cutler Bay’s celebration begins at 9 am with their golf cart parade, followed by a town picnic at Whispering Pines Park until noon. The picnic includes inflatables, snow cones, face painting, music, arts and crafts, and more. For parade participation rules and a map, please visit the Town’s website.

Race to the 4th in Homestead

This annual event takes place from 5-10 pm at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Admission is free and will include live music and entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, and a kid zone as well as cash prizes. The night will end with their spectacular firework show. Dont forget to RSVP.

Milander Park in Hialeah

The City of Hialeah will be having their annual Fourth of July Celebration located at Milander Park. This event begins at 4 pm and runs till 11 pm. The event features food trucks, live music, and family friendly acitivities. The 30 min firework show will include a laser show.

Red, White, and Grove at Peacock Park

Join the Miami Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Eduardo Marturet for a magical evening at Coconut Grove’s Peacock Park. This free event–which kicks off at 3:05 pm–is open to the public. Enjoy their kid zone as well as their Drone and Firework show.

4th of July Splash Bash at Jungle Island

On Friday, Jungle Island is hosting a family-friendly foam party (think Jeff Bezos-style), surprise animal visits, patriotic smoke cannons, and cookout classics.
