Hi! I am Pree and I am so excited to be here. NYC born and raised, single mama, total free spirit, and owner of a little boutique PR and branding agency where I get to be the hype woman for small businesses I genuinely believe in. That is me in a nutshell but keep reading because it gets better. As a mom now living in Miami, I have embraced the vibrant culture around me. Just a quick note, being a Miami mom gives me a unique lens on life here.
MIAMI MOVE
Okay so I did not grow up here but Miami has my whole heart and honestly, I have zero complaints. Since arriving, I entered life as a Miami mom and found so much to love about this city. Moving from New York I thought I would miss the city energy and I do sometimes. But what I did not expect was to fall completely in love with South Florida. The nature, the food, the energy of this place is something else. My son and I are big outdoorsy people. I grew up near mountains and still feel that pull so trails, preserves and anything green is how we get our fix here. We are also massive foodies so a really good meal is basically a love language in our house. When Saturday finally comes we are poolside, no question. My son has made his feelings on the beach very clear. The sand is a dealbreaker for him and honestly I respect it. The South Florida mom lifestyle suits us just fine, and the Miami mom life continues to shape our routines.
MOM LIFE
Before my son came along, I was a total gypsy. I moved around, followed my gut and lived very much in the moment. I loved that version of me. But I love even more who I became when motherhood showed up. It grounded me in the best way and I truly did not see that coming.
We keep a pretty chill and intentional life. We try to stay active, we eat well, we laugh a lot. I will be real with you because that is just how I am. As a Miami mom, I have an autoimmune condition that makes some days harder than others and I have had to really lean into the ebbs and flows of that. It is part of my story and it has honestly taught me more about grace and showing up than anything else ever has.
One of my favorite things is bringing my son into new experiences. I spent so many years wandering before settling down and I want him to have that same curiosity about the world. Just with a really good home base and his mom right there with him. Because embracing adventure is part of being a Miami mom for us.
MIAMI MOM COLLECTIVE
Here is my truth. I do not have a village in the traditional sense. My family lives out of the country and out of state so I have had to build my people from scratch. And the friends I have found along the way are truly something special. When I get a night off you will find me at a dinner reservation, a wine bar, or catching a ballet performance soaking up every single second of it. Anything arts related and I am there.
Community to me is what happens when you choose each other. It is showing up, being real and making space for the people around you. That is exactly what drew me to connect with other Miami moms through Miami Mom Collective, and I could not be more excited to be part of this. Whether I am sharing a kid-friendly restaurant my son absolutely loved, a hidden gem I stumbled upon across South Florida, or just an honest Miami single mom moment I am so happy to be doing it with all of you. 
Simply put, creating community as a Miami mom is a meaningful part of my journey.
